Creamy Pasta, Sausage & Tomato Skillet Meal
“Is it ready yet?” is something I hear the minute my son discovers I’m making one of his favorite pasta dishes, this one!
This creamy pasta, sausage and tomato skillet meal is kid and picky-adult friendly. I mean can you really go wrong with pasta, sausage, cheese, and tomatoes? It’s super simple to make, filling, and flavorful. The simple whipping cream sauce gets a super boost of flavor from the fresh garlic, onions, smokey sausage and fresh tomatoes!
Let me tell you, on busy weekdays I live for quick and easy skillet meals like this. Pair it up with some homemade garlic bread, a salad and BAM! A home-cooked dinner is done in 30 minutes!
Sometimes I’ll add broccoli, spinach or sweet peas to give it a burst of color if I have some on hand.
Here’s the smoked turkey sausage that I use. I get it from Walmart, Target or Harris Teeter. Feel free to use other sausages like sweet italian sausage.

I made this recipe once, and it became a classic for the family. They crave it so every time I go to the store I pick up some Dinner sausage just increase I have the other ingredients laying around waiting to be used. So creamy and savory, can’t have just one serving, and the dash of Red flakes.. ooooh! Just the right amount of Spice! Super easy to whip up as well!
Thank you yet again for another easy dinner hit in my house. The kids & my husband loved it. I used both smoked and regular sausage and added mushrooms. I also cooked the noodles in half low sodium chicken broth and water for some extra taste. The little one didn’t even complain about the tomatoes which she doesn’t like to much. Next time I will sneak in some spinach. ???? All in all GREAT DISH this will be in my regular rotation.
Fairly easy to make and didn’t take long at all. Chicken and shrimp may give it a tad more flavor. I like it for a side dish rather than main dish but its not bad.
