Oven Roasted Asparagus Recipe … So Good!
I’m really starting to get into eating asparagus since I’ve finally tried it roasted in the oven. If you’ve never tried roasted asparagus then honey, you are missing out.
It should be against the law to cook asparagus any other way than in the oven. They come out so tender, yet firm with a wonderful woody aroma. Even my toddler is crazy for these things and he’s not really a huge veggie eater these days.
You certainly can add some jazz to this roasted asparagus recipe by drizzling them with herb butter or grated cheeses but they are so good simply with a lil olive oil and salt.
I hope that you enjoy this easy asparagus recipe just as much as my family does!

Notes
Cooking time will vary based on the thickness of your asparagus. I cooked in a 425 degree preheated oven for 7 minutes. They should be tender to the bite and yet firm to the touch. When you pick them up they should not droop.
Question: What causes asparagus to droop after cooking? I follow your recipe and when I pick them up off the pan they’re drooping. Thanks in advance!
Made this recipe today after never liking asparagus. Turned out really good! Love it.
I made this last night and it was so good! I read comments before making and also used lemon pepper. I am so happy I found this site because I see so many recipes I want to try. Thanks again diva! 🙂
I made your rosemary garlic steak and topped them with shrimp along with your roasted asparagus and roasted corn for Valentine’s day this year….My family swore it was restaurant quality. My 6 year old has been begging me to make more asparagus ever since. That’s when you know it’s real. My baby has never begged for me to make any veggies….EVER. you better workkkk Mo!
Very good.
