Homemade Kool-aid Playdough
I’ve been teaching my 15-month old a new color every week; this week it’s RED!
We’ve been making, tasting, smelling, seeing, hearing, touching all things red and I’m about to go red crazy!
This playdough was a fun craft that he loved playing with. I got the recipe from my mom. She was a preschool teacher for over 15 years so she always had some kind of craft she’d bring home for us to do as well.
This kool–aid playdough was one of my favorites. I have never purchased the regular playdough because this stuff is much better. It’s so soft, safe, easy to make, cheap, last forever and it smells good too.
I used an almost identical recipe this Easter (it just made a little bit less) for my almost 1 year old son, to put in his Easter basket. He loves it! I am glad I found something that I don’t mind (though don’t encourage) him putting in his mouth…and it smells so good! Thanks for sharing this recipe- I hope others try it out!
